Are glueless wigs beginner-friendly?
Yes. Our glueless wigs are designed for easy, adhesive-free installation, making them a great choice for beginners and everyday wear.
What is the difference between a glueless wig and a 13×4 lace front wig?
A glueless wig is designed to be worn without glue or adhesive, making installation quick and beginner-friendly.
A 13×4 lace front wig provides a larger lace area for more flexible parting and typically requires adhesive for a secure installation.
What is the difference between Transparent Lace and HD Lace?
Transparent Lace provides a natural-looking finish but may require lace tint to better match your skin tone.
HD Lace is thinner and more delicate, allowing it to blend more seamlessly with the skin for a less visible, more natural-looking hairline.
What is the difference between bleached and unbleached knots?
Bleached knots lighten the small knots where the hair is attached to the lace, making them less visible and creating the appearance of hair growing naturally from the scalp. However, bleaching can weaken the knots over time and may increase shedding with frequent wear.
Unbleached knots remain darker and may be slightly more visible on the lace, but they retain more of their original strength and can offer better durability over time.
In short: choose bleached knots for a more seamless, scalp-like finish, or unbleached knots if durability is your priority.

How do I choose the right wig cap size?
Measure your head circumference around your hairline, just above your ears and around the nape.
We offer Small/Medium – Adjustable and Large options on applicable wigs.

What does wig density mean?
Wig density refers to how full or voluminous the hair appears. A higher density provides a fuller look. Available density options are displayed on each product page.
How do I choose the right wig length?
Wig length is measured from the top of the hair to the ends. Curly and wavy textures may appear shorter than straight hair at the same measured length.
STYLING & CUSTOMIZATION
Can I dye, bleach or heat style my wig?
Yes. Our human hair wigs can generally be colored and heat styled. Always use a heat protectant, and we recommend professional assistance for bleaching or major color transformations.
ORDERS & SHIPPING
How long does it take to process my order?
Processing time depends on the wig selected:
Natural Color: approximately 3–7 business days
Colored Wigs: approximately 7–12 business days
Custom Colors: approximately 15–17 business days
Please note that processing time is separate from shipping time.
How long does shipping take?
Once your order has been processed and shipped, delivery generally takes approximately 4–7 business days with express shipping. Delivery times may vary depending on your destination and the carrier.
When will I receive my tracking number?
You’ll receive your tracking information by email once your order has been processed and shipped.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Akiss Beauty ships within Canada, the United States and internationally. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination.
